Vision
To ensure the fulfillment of confident and curious young learners through the French
National Curriculum, where French guides learning, Arabic shapes identity, and English
opens up global connections.
At EFI Al Jabr – Nursery, each child grows in well-being, autonomy, and respect, gaining the
solid foundations needed for lifelong learning in a constantly evolving world.
Our Philosophy
- Each child is a learner: learning begins at birth, and every child progresses at their own pace within a caring group.
- Mastery of language, both oral and written, constitutes an essential pillar.
- Oral exchanges, stories, songs, and dialogue feed the imagination and lay the foundations for all future learning.
Mission
Our mission is to offer an inclusive, high-quality nursery and preschool program, grounded in the French National Curriculum (Cycle 1) with French as the language of instruction, and aligned with the KHDA's ECCE (Early Childhood) framework. We are committed to:
- Provide a secure and welcoming environment where every child is valued, respected, and supported in their progress.
- Integrate the Arabic language and Emirati culture into the heart of the curriculum, while naturally incorporating French and English into daily routines.
- Collaborate closely with families in Nad Al Sheba, recognizing them as co-educators and ensuring cultural and linguistic continuity between home and the nursery/kindergarten.
- Comply with the highest standards of health, well-being, and safeguarding, ensuring that every child thrives in a safe and stimulating setting.
- Monitor each child’s progress through continuous observation and assessment, ensuring personalized support and a smooth transition to primary school.
Our Core Values
- Identity and belonging: the Arabic language and Emirati culture are valued and celebrated, in harmony with French teaching, in a spirit of openness and intercultural dialogue.
- Respect and Dignity: all children are listened to and treated with equity, fostering empathy and citizenship.
- Equity and Inclusion: learning is accessible to every child, including children with special educational needs.
